I don't own one, but

I have played them at IRC, and as much as I wanted to like them, they felt kinda cheaply made to me. And for ME to say something feels cheaply made is something. I think in the archtop/jazzbox category (including 335 copies) it's a matter of getting what you pay for moreso than solidbodies. I don't even like the Epi 335's, but I would LOVE to have the real thing. Could just be my preconceived prejudices creeping in, though. YMMV.

Had enough of the lane restrictions yet?

Does that have a block under the bridge?

No it doesn't... wait

runs out to garage to check

No. No block. If there is any kind of block it doesn't run through to the inside of the back of the guitar. All I can see it bracing that runs from upper bout to lower bout under the top of the guitar just on either side of the pickups.

I think the ES335 and other stop tailpiece guitars have blocks under the bridge and are thus called "semi-hollow". Does anyone have experience comparing the true hollow body trapeze vs. stop tailpieces?
