Just right now I went to record and I plugged a drum machine into my Tube MP into the 1/4" jack and it wouldn't work, nothing was coming out and I thought it was very strange thats it not working cause I just replaced the tube not that long ago and I have not done anything to make it stop working.

I unplugged the drum machine and stuck in one of my mics using the XLR input and it worked just fine. So I thought maybe there was something wrong with the 1/4" input, I took it apart and looked inside and I looked at both of the 1/4" inch jacks (input & output) and found nothing wrong with them, so that brings me here. Whats going on? I don't understand what is happening. Things plugged into the XLR inputs work fine, but not with 1/4" inch jacks.

I tried my other Tube MP and it worked fine and then I tried the exact same settings that were on my working Tube MP on the one that isn't working and nothing still.

No idea. It sounds like a hardware failure to me- something in the wiring for that 1/4" jack isn't working. Your output is fine since the XLR works....

Hmmm...do you get a level on the led's going in through the 1/4"?

You're getting into territory where I just take it to the shop. If that's what you end up doing, come back and let us know what was wrong- I've got a dual MP, too.

I have a tube mp also. Only use it for the mic and I run my bass
Through it.Never had a problem with it yet . Had it for about 5 years
now.Sure sounds like you need to take it to the shop.

-PS: Please dont tell me you're recording drums in mono.

I haven't been able to find anyone who can fix it yet. I haven't looked that many places though so its not like they're not out there.

I record the drum machine in stereo, I have two tube MP's.
