Help! I'm taking it for granted the way to use this as an insert into a Fostex VF160 is simply taking an insert cable (Hosa) red into output, grey into input, other end of cable into insert. I'm just not getting much level into the comp, tho the thing makes all the signals put thru it sound better. There's lots of info out there re: the first version but not the VLA II. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm using the left channel as a comp/limiter. This thing really is transparent. It's a Chinese one. Almost sent it back as the screenprinting is smeared on the LOGO, but I didn't.
