ART PRE to Presonus int. question

I am getting an ART MPA Gold tube pre and a Presonus Firebox interface. I am new to recording. Should I go from the MPA Gold to the Firebox with an xlr or through the line in? I figured hooking up with the xlr would make it go through another pre, so is there any reason one would do this? Which will sound better? Thanks

If you want to blow the pres in your interface then go ahead, otherwise use the line in.

line in, you already got the mic to a line level with pre amp don't do it twice..
