ART MPAII replacement tubes

Just picked up one of these to use for critical vocals live. Everything I've read says the stock tubes blow. What would be some suggestions for replacements ? I plan on using it mostly in soft jazz settings think Sade or Diana Krall sorta goal.
 
I like JJ/Tesla valves a lot, they are very good for the money! if you can afford it though, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing beats NOS valves, like phillips/JAN, mullard, telefunken, they all have thier own flavour though, like spices. I personally love mullards for everything but they aren't cheap and are becoming rarer and harder to find.
 
baught an art tps 2 and had to change the tube because it hissed.

I tried some different nos ge, jan, sylvania, telefunkens, settled on JJ ecc83s
 
UPDATE

I got the unit and it was an original USA made MPA not the II series. I opened it up and found it had Yugoslavian EI ECC83 tubes !! Score.
