Picked one of these up for about $80 a year ago, and so far have only used it once for a DI for bass to a live PA. It worked out pretty ok. Since I have'nt really messed with it I was thinking of throwing it on Ebay. Before I do that, does anyone have any suggestions on a good use for this that I might not be thinking of? Is this unit even any good? Any suggestions on something I'm better off with?

You've already hit on the best use for one of these. They tend to be a bit noisy for studio recording, but you can't beat 'em for a safety net in case your amp fails. I've got a small zippered bag that fits inside my larger gear bag which is just large enough to hold the ART unit. It's small, lightweight insurance for live gigs (if not for you, then it might save a gig if another band mate's amp goes up in smoke).
