Art and Lutherie

I've been looking for a 12 string for awhile and recently found an Art and Lutherie guitar for 350$ canadien. It sounds great, looks pretty and even has decent action. Does anyone know anything about this particular brand that should prevent me from buying it, is this not even a good deal?

Art and Lutherie is a great value guitar. Seagull and Simon Patrick both are from the same parent company. I have heard some pretty amzing guitars from all three of those brands.

Any guitar with such a pretentious brand name would need an invitation just to be used as kindling in my fireplace.

I own an A&L AMI nylon (kind of a cross between a classical and a folk/parlour guitar) and I also own a seagull.

I love both; great guitars in my opinion.

The mother website is www.lasidio.com and you can check the Godins, Art Lutheries, Seagulls etc.
I think they are a nice guitar for the price. The satin finish is easily scratched by fingernails and picks. Nice mellow tone.

Their necks are a bit fat, though. I personally don't like necks like that, as they give me carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand. I'd personally look a step up at the Simon and Patrick or Seagull models, though.
