Ark 24 compared to the q10

This question is for anyone who has used both...

Does the ark24 basicaly have ten ins and outs with no mic pres?
And is there a dsp mixer? If there is, is it simialr looking to the q10's or is it drasticaly different?
 
Well, haven't used the Aark24, but my understanding is that it is basically the same unit as the q10 w/o the mic pres. It uses the same clock and the same AD/DA converters, so sound quality is the same. The mixer is pretty much the same accross the product line (give or take a channel or two here and there). But you might get a more definite info by sending your question to Aardvark. I have had to deal with their support before and have nothing but praise for them. They give prompt and accurate answers.
