Man my life is all f*cked up right now. The only things I have going for me are my music and my education(4.0 GPA). This sh*t sucks man. Sometimes I even think about just giving it all up and getting a full-time job like everyone else. I mean, I got some of the illest sh*t many people have ever heard, but it's not taking me anywhere. Then I see and hear about whack ass bastards everyday.........getting record deals and sh*t(they aren't whack because they got the deals.....they are simply not creative and suck period!!!). I been thinkin about just goin a god damned robbin spree or some sh*t. I got a child on the way and everything. Sh*t is real for me right now......nah mean. My ex-girlfriend committed suicide exactly one year ago(we weren't talkin at the time). I got a friend who went crazy from swallowing some crack while runnin from the cops(the packaging opened up in his stomache). Another friend is serving a 5 year sentence for armed robbery/mallicious wounding/assault with a deadly weapon. I just moved to a new location about a year ago and have found nothing but sh*tty jobs around here. There's a thousand more problems I have, but I have already said too much.

Listen I don't mean to be crushin you....... I've told you in other posts that your are probably a contact away from making a name for yourself.................but you gotta stop knockin other people for doin what they do..... It seems to me you get awfully frustrated cuz this music ain't takin you where you wanna go, but bro....this ain't an easy business............. There are people in here that have been doing this thing for 10yrs and aren't there yet....Thats how this game is played.... A very small % ever get signed and even a smaller percent ever sell 500k copies.................... I truly think with some attention to detail and putting that music out to those that wanna make it will help you gain exposure..........

EXAMPLE:
Its like this - that cat MANNISH that comes here that sold like 70k copies in the underground......Man you should be throwin stuff his way and hopes he wants to rock somethin.....thats exposure......the reason why them cats get out there that you ain't feelin is cuz they exposed themselves to a larger audience..........MANNISH sold 70K but I beat over 500K people heard his music....Not all of them felt it but 70K did and bought the record thats what counts......thats how people build a name and get recognized and its the same thing you gotta do.....Now as far as I know you don't have or had a record out yet...so really you can't expect to get signed anywhere.....This game is so competitive Attlliah you gotta do twice as much as the next person to be heard.....and

when you get 500K people to hear your joints...70K are gonna buy it too...... not everyone is gonna feel you...but who cares...you should only care about the ones that support you......

I can see your a motivated cat cuz you post like 5 new threads a day...channel that energy into pushing your shit out there.......

Yeah, that's me. But I usually don't get my hopes up. I'll go there and dazzle the crowd rhymically and lyrically, but after that you just gotta hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I was just thinkin about some sh*t. That last post probably came off as sounding all depressed and sh*t, but it aint like that!

And as for the hatin' thing......Is it considered hatin' if I say I respect such-and-such as a business-minded person and entertainer. The thing is that I simply cannot relate to the more "soft-core" artists in any genre.

This is the way I see it:
Music is supposed to be the melodic interpretation of the human experience right(and don't get me wrong...I like to have fun with my music too)? How many people do you know that are always ready to party, everyday all day? How many people ONLY shop for new jewlry and clothes and cars? How many cats never get angry, or frustrated, or depressed(even if they are rich)? The simple fact of the matter is that everyone experiences the full spectrum of human emotions, so, any artist that makes music that is ALWAYS happy and clubby, or ALWAYS depressed and sad simply cannot be "REAL", can they?

I can't relate to the soft sh*t............that's all.

In other words...................

"Art reflects Life"......................or at least it is supposed to.

And about that show I'm supposed to do......even if I was offered a contract I don't think I'll end up taking it. I am seriously reconsidering my choice to make music the most important thing in my life...........or at least for now.
