are we overheating nowhereradio?/lately been streaming sooo slow since the 1.5 craze

You know, I'm not much of a fund-raiser, and I know a lot of people that frequent this BBS are strapped, but gimme' a freakin' break guys. If just the people that logged on TODAY sent the man $10 each, it'd make a dent. We're talking the rental price of 2 DVD's, or 1/2 what it costs to go to a movie. A SET OF FREAKING GUITAR STRINGS!!!

How much entertainment value do most of us derive from uncle W.? Fuck, you people make me sick!! (okay, the last line was a joke, but if you can't send the man $10,...hell...what am I saying??? NOBODY can honestly say that they can't come up with $10 in the next month. If you say it, I'll call you a liar. :D :D)

hey as you can tell by the sheer number of songs on my site..that i ponied up for the unlimited deal...(which needs to be re-upped here pretty quick)....anyway im all for it...in fact im writing a check right now.

Yeah, I noticed it (NWR) was a bit bogged down, taking a bit longer to stream songs etc...., but I haven't had any failures, or had to come back to anything....

This has been great... So much fresh stuff from you guys.... The first page of the clinic thread forum, is full of brand new threads, and brand new tunes...

And where are you going to post the thermometer that measures the monitary progress towards the new server? Or maybe Sabbath can do that for you, he likes to post pictures lately.
 
I havent been able to download or stream songs at a reasonable transfer rate in the last few days.I've had to ditch a lot of downloads because of it.

What connection are you on?... I am on high speed DSL.... , like I said, it's been a tad slow, but I haven't had DL's ditching or timing out or losing downloads.......

Im On Broadband Cable.My usual download speed at NWR is over 70 kbps......it's down to 2 or 3 the last couple of days.Thats over 20 times slower than usual for me.Ive ran tracerts and the slow link is always at the end of the trace.

p.s. Ive also been getting the "Server has exceeded bandwidth" error.....too many people hitting the site!

How much is the unlimited space option. I just signed up there yesterday for the free service. I could see needing to expand tha space real quick.

I would try to figure it out myself, but my work has that site blocked :mad:

It's like $15 for 6 months. You can't beat it anywhere.
 
Yeah yeah yeah...but not all of us have mountains of extra condensers shoved in the back of the closet just taking up space. LOL :D

Send me a screen shot of the error with the exact URL you are getting that message on, this error is generated by a server, however it is NOT turned on for any of my servers, so you should never ever recieve that message.

I'll keep track of what's done on the NWR forum, Dragon doesn't like people talking about other sites here...
