Are Quantegy 10.5" tape reels made of metal ?

Hi,

From what I understand, the 7" Quantegy tape reels are plastic and 10.5" tape reels are made of metal. Am I correct ?

Aluminum, to be precise, yes.

Why? It's non-magnetic. :cool:

I asked 'cause I actually preferred to have a nice aluminum reel and just wanted to double check. Thanks again!
