Are mixed projects available?

New here, so please excuse me for being unfamiliar with this forum.

I am trying to learn how to process & mix raw tracks. What I want most is access to mixed projects, which I could open in my DAW's and examine. I realize that's a big request, like hey can go to your house and sleep in your bed with your wife -- but I am just asking because some people are into that.

I have Reason and Reaper. Even if I found mixed projects, I guess I'd be in trouble if I didn't have all the right VST's needed by projects made by other people.

So, any advice would be welcome. I see this a great forum getting raw tracks, and feedback on rendered final mixes, but it would really make this easier for me to learn if I could open projects and see exactly how effects were laid out and set. I've been able to do this with the handful of demo songs that came with Reason 7, and I'm just looking for more projects to study.

Thank you.

The issue there is having the same DAW and VST effects as the guy who who has mixed any particular song.

To add to what Jimmy stated, you would want the projects from a DAW and have all of the plugins in the mix package.

Yeah, I think the odds are against me. Maybe I'll have some luck with Reason, since it comes with a lot of standard instruments & FX (and doesn't work with VST's); but I asked over there too, and no luck yet.

If you focus on a DAW, like Reason or Reaper and look at some of the courses, they probably mix with OOTB stuff or as a part fo the course seel the plugin. Might be worth the money to you.

That's a good idea. Thank you.
