are boss power supplys worth it,(TU-2, LS-1)

im talkin about the boss stomp boxes that power up to 7 pedals,

are they great for powering pedals or do they create hum or bad tone?

what are your opinions on this?
 
Boss power supplies are usually very good. The TU-2 or LS-1 isn't power supplies however. They just have a 9V out as well as a 9V in for daisychaining other pedals with a special cable.

You might want to check out a powersupply with multiple outputs. There are loads of these. I bought one that was called "<something>Baby"-ish for a bit over $50. I haven't been able to find any links to it, only to horrendously expensive ones for $200 or more. :(
Just make sure you buy a powersupply that can feed a couple more effects that you currently have. :)
