Guys, My recording space is pretty limited at the moment and I want to free up some space for a new organ and leslie.

Now my idea is to get Arbiter Flats drum kit but I wanted anyones advice on how these sound recorded.

Does anyone have any opinions?

The "Flats" have almost no depth (tone) - they are almost entirly attack. Candidly, they still take up almost as much space as something like the small Mapex Voyager kit (and the Voyager can record much better than the Flats).

However, I recorded a drummer that had triggers on a Flat kit (he triggered an Alesis D4) with live cymbals - and it worked very well.

If it was me - I would not buy the Flats as a recording kit (unless perhaps I planned to trigger).
