Appeal for advice

Hi there,

right now I have bought new monitors Behringer B2030A and I would like to ask some good soul here if it is possible to plug these monitors exactly into my pc (my sound card is Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro) or whether I need an equipment included between the monitors and my computer (mix-pult, equalyzer etc.). I have tried to plug the monitors into the sound card output by means of a balanced 1/4'' TRS connector but the sound was very distorted and unclear.

It should work fine. I don't know why it'd be distorted and unclear.

Thank You for trying to help me, I am a total beginner and maybe I did something incorrectly. The sound is led from the sound card output into a double-jack VELLEMAN CAA34 DOUBLE JACK FEMELLE 6.35MM STEREO VERS JACK MALE and then from each of these jacks into one and the another monitor separately. Is this kind of connection ok?

I think that might be your problem then. Try and get a mini(1/8") stereo jack to 2 mono 1/4" jacks, or 2 XLR, Y-lead. Where are you from? and i'll look for one for you.

Hmm, ok. Well this is what you need, and thomann ship to the Czech republic for 15euros. Might be better to look for somewhere closer to you to save on shipping costs.

Interesting that the picture looks right -2 1/4 TS connectors, but the discription says 'TRS.
(They probably wouldn't pair TRS's with a stereo 1/8" unless they were doing 'stereo Y', but check.
