anybody ever used this before or have any pros/cons. im recording rap vocals on my macbook pro. As of right now im using Audacity to record stuff and I was planning on buying this mic used of someone i know...What is the sound like and should I get it???:drunk::D

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I don't know. They aren't that expensive to begin with. $80. new all day long - if you got it at half price I guess it would be good to learn on.

Biggest problem with USB mics is that a lot of them don't have any audio output capabilities, which means monitoring tends to range from problematic to downright impossible with usable latency. My gut says you'll be a lot happier in the long run if you save up a little more money and get a standalone USB audio interface and a traditional microphone.

Can anybody help me out ?

I have a USB Apex 440 mic , and for my DAW i use adobe audtition 3.0 and Pro - Tools 10 , But after having the mic on for a while i get a static noise, I think it's a timing issue with the clock source, but i dont know how to change it from internal to external,

I'm pretty sure the mic since its digital has its own clock on it, and the reason why i'm getting static is because it gets out of sync after a few mins of use.

If anyone can help me out plz send an email to shawn.don99@gmail.com please and thank you

USB mics are for podcasters. Pass on it.

If you buy an $80 usb mic you are really buying a $40 mic and a $40 audio interface inside it.
Cheap + Cheap = Meh....
