apex 440 - high pitched sound

so i bought the usb microphone today and plugged it to my desktop
and when i played the music (AR), i kept hearing this high pitched beep sound in the background which seems to be coming from APEX 440 (since I didn't hear any beeps when i pulled out the USB).


On the mic, there's a -10db switch and a 0 switch, and another switch that has a '-' and a '¬' on it.

when i listen to my recording, I constantly notice the beep sound and its so annoying...
please help me!!!! and btw can u provide me detailed instructions of what to do???
im kind of computer noob
 
The - is flat response and the other is a foll off, to the left is a low and if it's to the right it's a high roll off but I don't think that it has a high roll off.
The other -10 and 0 is for your db response.
 
ok...

ok...so how do i get rid of the beep sound???
currently its at - (flat response) and 0db
