Its mainly for podcasts/commentary but of cause leaving things open for if I ever did want to adventure into the world of music.
What you see there was pretty much my budget, paid extra for next day delivery though, although the mic stand won't come until the 10th which is annoying ^^

Though I have never read anything bad about the at-2020 I would not choose it for a close talking speech mic.
Better IMHO would be the venerable SM57/58* or one of several dynamics now available at 1/2 the price. These also tend to be up to 6dB more sensitive than the SMs. An excellent compromise would be a small D capacitor.

*SM7b, would of course be even better but a bit out of budget?

I have my Tritton's. I also have my Sony MDR v55's.

It will but the one shown is 5mtrs.

Be aware OP that 5mtrs is the limit for a usb cable and even then some AI/OS/computers will baulk at 5.

I have a 1 meter USB cable, but I thought I'd buy one just in case it wasn't long enough.
