Does anyone have any experience with the c-port wdm-drivers? What latency do you have?

I have a P4 1400MHz and I want to be able to use software input-monitoring and DXi-instruments in real-time.

...Hmmm..
I don't use it. Why don't you try and post the result here ?

Oh, sorry. I don't have one yet, but if the latency is good i might buy one.

the 2ms are for ASIO 2.0. Unfortunately, no info on sonar wdm latency

...I check here and there, no luck of finding the info. BTW, SONAR update for ASIO drivers is about to release soon. Then there's nothing to worry about, I think...

The question is how well the ASIO-support will be implemented in Sonar...

I've read some place about a ASIO-WDM "converter" or something like that. If you had low latency ASIO-drivers you could "emulate" low latency WDM-drivers. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

I think BBS member Tom Hicks has a C-port...don't ask me how I remembered that:confused:

BTW, I talked to Sonar support last week. I believe they said ASIO drivers will be out next month.

I'M very interested in this...

Just bought the CPort DSP4000 I have an athalon 1.4 with 256 DDR Ram, XP... Ive configured the desktop for optimal performance as well. I will post me results as soon as the card arrives...
