Anyone use wax on the bearing edge?

Has anyone used wax on the bearing edges, and why?

Absolutely! Whenever I get a new drum I inspect the bearing edge for any imperfections (sanding it out if I find one with fine sand paper) and then I rub the bearing edge with parafin. It makes the head seat faster and tuning is much easier.
