Anyone use the M-Audio Audio Buddy?

I am planning on using either the Delta 44 or 66 soundcard but what I am
really looking for is to record a max of two XLR mic inputs at a time.

The 44 and 66 look ok as cards but I need something to handle (2) XLR
inputs. Has anyone used the audio buddy or if not, make some
welcome recommendations?

my computer is old: dual 300 with a 380 med of ram

The Audio Buddy should do you just fine if it's your first venture into recording but I've heard some people saying that it does not deliver the full voltage required for condenser mics (no problems with dynamic mics as they don't need phantom power). If you can afford it, look into buying a DMP3 by M Audio - it is a better pre than the Buddy.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the DMP3 and was wondering what the difference was. Thanks again!
