Anyone try the new MP3Pro encoding format yet?

I gave it a whirl via free demo from:

www.rca.com

but I still have some questions. Does the format include a range of compression settings like the regular .mp3 file? I'll bet 128Kbps would sound amazing! The demo only encoded at 64 Kbps, but I'd say it sounded great. It's even somewhat backwards compatible with regular .mp3 files. The .mp3pro encoded files sound better played on an .mp3pro player, but don't sound that bad on a regular player. And the new player will play the old format with no problem.

I've tried the new WMA 8 format which touts similar specs....CD quality at 64kbps....near CD quality at 44kbps.

Sounded impressive...but still sorta crappy. My dream is an internet where streaming live wave audio is not a problem :)
