Yeah i got one ,i put it near my guitar to record.
It cost 250 oz dollers.
Thats about 20 bucks US.

The only reviews of the PG series I've seen are in the Musicians Friend catalog.

Of course, you would expect those reviews to be glowing, after all, they're trying to sell the merchandise.

On the other hand, would the makers of the SM-58 and SM-57 risk damaging their reputation by making a crappy product? I would think not, but I'll let others more expert than me comment on that.

These are the radioshack mics. radioshack puts their name on them and sells 'em. They used to be the shure access sereies. and now they are "performance gear", whatever that means. Don't buy it unless you really have to because they suck. Get a marshall MXL603 instead for 70 bucks. It's a great mic, at a great price.

So you have used them, then?

I have a couple, If your on a low budget the pg57 and 58 arent that bad on guitar amps. They're good for Live use on stage, They won't sound that different from the sm57 and 58 on stage and if you lose them its $50 down the drain and not 100

yes i have. i don't really like 'em, at all. just get the marshall. I have one that i free when i bought my mxl2001(ugh), but the free 603 made it better, and now i want more of 'em. They're pretty damn nice mics, and for 70 bucks, you can't really go wrong can you?
