Anyone tried a Zoom 505II?

I just received an email from a friend, he bought the guitar effect box below for $69 at Mars, it looks like a lot of stuff for the money. Has anyone here tried one?

I bought one when they were $89.95. I was happy with it just for the tuner feature.

Great pedal. I did tweek it some for to own taste. Added some good Bass punch to by sound.

When I bought a GT-6 I had no problem selling it to a jam buddy for $70. He liked it so much.

Go try it if you can.

The Zoom 505II has awful effects and even worse distortion, but for the money it is a very interesting little box. Would I gig with it? NO. Would I use it for recording direct? Hell NO. Do I spend hours seeing what crazy sound I can come up with next? Yes and I will continue to, until this lovable piece of crap breaks. I suggest that for the entertainment purposes alone you should pick up this unit.
