I'm having trouble figuring out the midi on this unit....maybe someone who has one of these can help...

The MIDI in this unit is totally bare bones. Set the ProVocal to recieve the same channel that your foot controller is sending. Then it will respond to program changes sent from the foot controller. CC's are fixed, so on programs that have modulation fx your CC will change those fx automatically. In the manual these fx are labelled with CC.
If you are using a software sequencer to send MIDI data, make sure there is no SYSEX being sent down the line, the ProVocal does not respond to SYSEX data.
