what's up?! we've been contacted from a Japanese based record company called Handcuts Records (distributed through Universal supposedly) http://www.handcuts.com/ they sent us a funky "memo" contract that we're not quite sure if it's scammy or not. bla, bla bla...
cut to IMing with another budy in the that has his own mostly "rap" act, and he was also contacted by them and given a contract memo....
what are the odds? maybe good cuz their band is great, but i'm just wondering if this is some scam and they're passing out hundreds of these contracts trying to get hands on masters or something.
Anyone else been hit up by these guys?!
