Anyone have the MR-8 recorder?

It would be a huge help for me if someone had the Fostex MR-8 and could send me a clip of the sound quality that was produced with the machine. If you can do so, email me at:

the sound quality is 16 bit, no more no less, its the same as a commercial cd, the quality comes form the person recording with it, some peoples stuff sounds great, some like crap.

sm 58 sm 57 mxl990, are some mics i use, most people record on the mr 8 the transfer the files to the computer for mixing, with n track cubast, cool edit or whatever....

I don't have the link on my pc here at work, but you can go to www.nowhereradio.com and do a search for Out Of The Blue or Collaboration. These were done on the MR8. Keep in mind though that the quality is quite a bit better than what you will hear. Nowhereradio is just streamed MP3s.
