Although I'm passively familiar with them and I've heard their name mentioned on this board, I would like to know from people who actually ordered from this company and their experiences ? Are they legit and reliable ? Are their prices fair ? How good is their packaging for transit etc .. ? Here's their site:

Thanks! :)

I purchased an Accessory 2 cable from them once, for use with the Tascam MIDIzer and an MSR-16.

It got here relatively quickly, and shipping wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be, even though it was coming from Japan. I would have bought the cable elsewhere or had it custom-made, but those pursuits didn't pan out.

UPDATE: I recently placed (and received) a relatively large order of pinch rollers and belts from this company and it was a wonderful experience. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your TEAC / TASCAM parts needs. :)

Yes, rubber pinch rollers and belts: 2 of each for my TASCAM 388 and TEAC 3440 and 2 pinch rollers for my TASCAM 58 (direct drive - no belts ;) ). First rate service with speedy shipping - took only 3 business days from Japan!! :)

I checked out the site as I'm looking for a pinch roller for my Tascam 48. Though the site lists this pinch roller http://www.openreel.net/pr42.jpg as the one for the TEAC 33-8, TASCAM 38, 42B, Late Model 44, 48OB, TSR-8, MSR-16, it is not so as I own the TSR-8 as well and the two pinch rollers are completely different and neither will fit on the other machine. I'll have to email this guy and get to the bottom on things.

That's strange 'cause I always thought the 38, 48 and TSR-8 shared the same pinch roller. Sure, email the guy. He is most helpful.

Kawashima Audio Service is Awesome

I just ordered a hard to find switch for a TEAC X2000R, it was 46 bucks including shipping and handling. It was shipped from Japan, I got the part in under a week. I highly recommend them. Very good communication, super fast and they use PayPal. Awesome. :)
