I am thinking about buying these after much consideration. If you have some of these monitors, let me know what you think. What kind of results have you gotten with your mixes. Do you got some mixes that you got from these monitors that I can hear to see how they turned out?

I don't have them, but I know people who do, and they have always spoken well of them.

this won't be helpful at all. I'm just padding my post count

I've never used them, but I've heard that they aren't very good.

"they hype the mids/highs"
"poor bass response"
"blah, blah, blah"

I suspect at least SOME of the bad rap comes from them having the name Behringer on them.
whatever.
I'd still look at other options in 'X' price range, whatever yours may be, just cuz

I have them....

They're OK once you get used to them. In hindsight I'd buy something better... but they won't break and I'm not recording much at the moment so I'm not fussed....

And what use would be posting my mixes do you? Few variables there you can't control...

I went ahead and bought these monitors. I got a pair for only 220 bucks, in flawless shape. I really came to this conclusion, no matter what monitor/gear that you go with, there is always gonna be a million people that love them, and a mill and a half that don't. I don't think I could go wrong with 8" studio monitors for only 220 bucks. Besides, no matter what monitor you get, you just got to learn what a mix should sound like, get use to them. I will put an update up in a month or two, and tell you guys if I made a big mistake lol.

Exactly !
Supercreep says he's used them and they were good. I think Gekko Zzed has used them and had nothing ill to report. Armistice has done mixes on them. I play Armistice and Supercreep's stuff, they are beautifully recorded and mixed. They don't dis these monitors having used them. That's good enough for me.
It's like when people talk about Reaper. The brilliant stuff that has come from people here that use it tells me it's a great DAW. Should I ever go the computer route, it would be my first port of call.

Ok, so I got my B2031a monitors today, I can't see why anyone wouldn't love these. I got mine used, made me alittle nervous, but for 220 what the hell. I love them, I did a test mix in 5-10 minutes, and my mix was 10x better than any of my mixes that I used my akg headphones with, that I also spent hours working on. I know that they are made by the dreaded b word, but come on, they translated the first run, just messing around.

As Grim says, I've been using Truth B2031a for about four or five years.

I got them because that's all I could afford at the time.

But they have been great workhorses and have served me well. I'm not getting complaints about my mixes.

I have considered moving on to bigger and better . . . but there is nothing compelling me to do so at the moment . . . so I'll just keep on using them until something bad happens.

Are they the best monitors in the world? Probably not

Are they great value for money? Definitely yes.

Oh yeah, I got mine for only 220 off of guitar center used, they are flawless. Not a thing wrong, no scratches or anything. There is no way I could have gotten better monitors with all the same features for even close to that price.
