Anyone have a Soundelux U97?

Is that the one that looks like a TLM-103? If so, that one isnt considered that great, Fletcher didnt care much for it and it has been discontinued. Might not be thge one I'm thinking of though...

I picked one up right when they discontinued it. Mine's #28 (I think?). I'm pretty happy with it. Try the Omni pattern on acoustic guitar, put it right up to the body (no proximity effect). Sounds much better on my voice than my AT4033. I run it through my Great River MP2. Fletcher told me it was a neat little mic, even though Mercenary had just sold their last one. I had to get mine through Professional Audio Design.

Also, try close up vocals in Figure-8, this pattern has the most proximity effect, so you geta really great up-close and bass heavy sound.
