Hey all,
I'm doing a Christmas song here and I'm on the hunt for some big single hit bell sounds.
I'll be tuning them and using them throughout the song.
There are a lot of free samples out there, and I have gathered some useful ones, but I can't find 'the one'.
I'm looking for something really close, clean and big. Deep....not a little jingly bell.
Some of the ones I found have unpleasant overtones when set against music.
Tubular bells seems to be the closest to what I want, but so far haven't found anything as big sounding as I want.
Here's a short loop of the bits I've gathered.
It's the main single bell marking beat one that's weak, to me.
