Anyone From Australia know where I can order a pre-amp online?

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any Aussies here that can reccommend a place where I can buy a pre-amp, such as a M-Audio buddy?

My local shop has had nothing but trouble trying to get one in....Could someone please suggest a decent music shop....

I had a look, and the only one that appears to be within my budget is the Behringer Ultragain MIC2200 (@$375AUD).

Is this a good preamp? I need one for vocals, acoustic guitar (through mic) and to record both bass and guitar clean into my computer. What does the ultragain bit mean?

How is it in Shepp these days dr.colossus? I used to live down the road from you in Echuca...

i popped some advice in the other thread.... shepps great... there aren't many townswith a population of 40,000 people with two and a half instrument retailers...

actually one of the shepp guys just opened up an instrument shop in echuca...

damn nice bakery there... the drovers bakehouse... well now its called the beachworth bakery kinda sucks when that happens

We really only have 1 decent shop here in Coffs Harbour that I can think of. The place is quite big as well. Thank god for the Internet.

Hey, is that Lyric Music shop still in Shepp (or was that Bendigo)? I still have an old 'World Of Music' Privileged customer card somewhere from that store....

lyric shut down nearly ten years ago... good luck with the meek :)
 
I used to work with a guy that was an ex AFL (actually VFL) player..........reckoned he used to practice kicking by using a bag of wheat and kicking it from Echuca across the Murray to Moama............lmfao. Talk about tall stories.
