Hey!

I just uploaded some of my son's (little sjoko??) band's songs. He writes the songs. heavy anti facist / anti racist stuff, sings (or, according to my ex - pukes to music :). He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, a miracle! My son!?? He's a real cool guy, prepared to speak out about things he sees are wrong. As a result they often need heavy security during their gigs...... pretty sick innit?

Recorded cheaply in 1/2 a day on a couple of ADATS in the UK. I'll add some more songs next week, hope you like them, let me know

I like it, kinda Dead Kennedys gone rap or something...
Now admit... thats YOUR band, and YOU recorded it ;)

I wished it was! I'm to fucking old for that! (but I love it and I'm proud of him)

I listened to officer #33 and it was pro as usual.
I loved the way the instruments just jump out, and the nice space the voice inhabits.

please help my post in the mixing/mastering forum.
It about punch

Forgot I couldn't d/l officer #33, so it was bangin' off the T-1 line for about an hour or more, good for about 20-30 hi-fi plays, I 'spect. . . .Good stuff . . .

Tight band! Decent enough tunes!

Hmmmmmmm...well, it IS a demo.

I like the songs.

Not fond of the production, in particular, the drums and bass. Very out of balanced with the quality of the guitar and vocals. But considering the "quickie" nature of it, not bad at all.

Very cool man. You need to get these guys to tune down a few more steps!

The drums were hard to hear at some points, and I don't hear a bass guitar at all through small headphones....though I can kind of feel that it's there. I think the guitar is way out of place and kind of mucking things up a bit...when it stops everything else sounds much better.

Fucking excellent singing! Cool riffs! Good lyrics!

I'd like to see these guys live! Definately want to hear more.

Nice job on these songs!

My only gripes are that the distorted guitar seems to dominate the mix and the bass could have come up just a bit to even things out.
But, then again, I'm checking this out at work on cheapo speakers. It might sound better to me at home.

Other than that, the songs are pretty darned good.

Two thumbs up! :)

Hey sjoko2...your son "pukes to music" real well:). Does Clayton play with these guys? Never mind. Really sounds like a tight band, I don't listen to this kind of music much but they sound pretty damn good. Did they record this at home or studio? Throw some more up...or "puke some more out":D
