"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
All the recording I've done so far has been for a band I'm in, but this summer, a friend's band wants me to do their demo, so I figured it's a good idea to have some sort of written contract. Are there any good ones I can just mooch from the internet?
As for the details of the contract, I was thinking that it should include that they will pay me if that's what we agree on; they retain ownership of their IP (the song); we will both own the finished product (recording), which they are free to distribute without first consulting me; I alone will own the raw tracks. Am I missing anything? Should I change some of that?
