Didn't have one at Sam Ash to test. I like the reviews, but wanted to hear some real reviews. How does it compare with C1 which I own and use already. Thanks for the help,

It's not bright like the C1, and has a very smooth midrange and big bottom. The top end is somewhat "sweet" without being harsh, very good all purpose mic and can slay on guitar cabs, many vocals etc.
It would compliment your C1 well as far as not sounding near the same.

That's what I was interested in.
'Compliment' is really what I'm interested in. I don' t want anything like the C1 Thanks. Anybody else use it?

I was UBER curious about this mic for a while, but wound up getting a 414 and then a tlm 103, but who knows, perhaps sometime soon, we'll see how business goes

ended up getting CAD VSM
This was the step up. Couldn't find anybody anywhere that had a bad thing to say about it. I tell you what I think when I get. Should be here by Wednesday.

Congrats, the VSM is a good one. Discontinued, which is a shame.
