Anybody own or used the MR8-MKII or MR8-HD??

I have a couple of questions if you could help answer them:

1) How long do individual songs take to load up from the flashcard (on the MKII), or are they read directly from it? I'm hoping to use the MR8 live and was wandering if there would be much of a wait between songs?

2) On the earlier MK I red version of the machine, when selecting a desired song the manual states:

TIP - You can also select a desired song by pressing
the [REWIND] key or [F FWD] key while
holding down the [ENTER] key


I wandered if this 'quick' function had been included on the MKII and HD models as well (no mention of this in the manual for these models)?
Or do you need to scroll through multiple menus each time to select a new song?

(1) It reads and writes directly to the card.

(2) The Mk II and newer models should have similar shortcut keys.
