I own one and I like it a lot for live. For recording I have a lot more options. (beyer 201, senn 421, ribbons, LDC's, SM 7, just about anything 'cept I don't care for SDC's, too much detail on cabs for me (unless it's a big box, then they sound great)

Ditto that---like it was made for live guitar cabs.

Ditto that again. Good for another flavor on the cabs in the studio and a real slam dunk live.

I've used it for brass in a live setting as well--sounded great.
