Hi,,,
Are there any steinberg m14 users out there ?????
Having loads of problems getting the output routing sorted out.
I have the m14 connected to a amp, and monitors, via its audio outs on the rear. There is nothing else in the chain.
Getting distortion on tracks in SL3 when the monitor icon is lit.
When i click the icon and turn off the monitoring, the distorted signal is replaced with a clean signal ? !!!!
But of course,,, when i start recording in SL3 , the monitoring comes back on
and the distortion returns.
I think the monitoring is routing itself thru the input bus, but i havent got a clue how. Everything is set up as it should be.
3 days ago,, i recorded 3 multiple track test songs, and they recorded faultlessly with no distorted signals to be found anywhere, so i know it works and is not a hardware or software issue. I just dont know what i did to get it working ok, or more importantly,,,, what have i done or changed, to get this distorted signal.
