anybody ever use the BeyerDynamic Opus mics

Hey, I am looking to purchase the Beyerdynamic Opus Drum Mic Package (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/OpusDrumPkSE/) are these any good? Has anybody ever used them? What mics in this package can be used to mic other things? And what?

Hi it looks like a flash set of drum mikes.I have only used the Beyerdynamic
Opus 59s.It is a vocal mic and i think it is excellent for my needs at gigs and have also recorded vocals too.Sorry but not up with there drum mics but have found thier gear fist class looks like you could use these mics in other situations like the small 83 they would be ok for any acoustic instruments.The kick mic lots of folks mic guitar amps with these.It seems you mybe restriced with the clip on mics for other uses hard to say without a closer look and theres no dought smarter guys here than I.

I have not yet used Beyer mics; however, I'm sold on their cans. 250s and 770s are in my studio. Comfortable fitting and German quality.

Suggest you get a price from all other major vendors, including shipping or no shipping charges, using the 800 free numbers or the net.

I have saved from 20 pezzutos to 500 pezzutos doing this. Also, check the return policies before you drop the pezzutos.
