Los Lonely Boys? My teacher has me working on "Heaven". I'm using a Carvin DC135, which is a S-S-H configuration. I seem to be close using the middle single coil + split bridge, which would be like Strat position 4.

Sound right to you?

i have the Live from Austin DVD from the boys.....

i aint easily impressed, but DAMN can those boys play! He does some plain awesome stuff with that 6 string bass. You can tell they have been plaing together since they were 6!

i am not much of a "traditional" lead player, because i do a 1 man band thing, i kind of have a different style.

from what i can tell though, in additiona to the strat, he feeds into a stomp box that looks like the green ibanez tube thing, and into a wah pedal, then he goes into a marshall amp.

i will say that they inspired me to play a better lead part, so i have undertaken the learning of the lead!

just though i would chime in
