I just got a Marshall DSL50 Head. Its one of the early models with the Drake OT. I was wondering if any of you guys put and eq in the effects loop. What type of eq?

Marshall manual for my amp says digital effects through the loop and analog effects go into the front input. Can't find the link right now...

I use a BOSS GE-7 in the effects loop along with a delay.
I use it to boost a little midrange and cut a little top end for lead sounds.
That's always been the way I do it.

I put the DD-20 in the fx loop last night and it was much cleaner. The lead channel is perfect the way it is for me. I would like the option of shaping the clean.
That ge-7 comes up alot. I hear there is a mod for it as well. I'll scope out ebay for one.
