Hi,

I wanted to know your opinions on this?

(I know there are some clicks in it though...)

I'm doing a new mixdown on this song.
But I'd like some suggestions on what you would change.

I basically want a bit of a clearer sound through the chorus.
It sounds a bit muddy to me now.

I couldn't upload the full track because my ISP has limited file size :( 2Mb/File max.

Thanks for the comments.

whoa

Just listened to it agian (been a few weeks)... definately to much bass...

Hi Stegoo.
Yeah, I agree with ya, sounds like the bass is taking over.
I don't know a lot about recording so I can't comment very well on that.
I do play music and can tell you that the song is good. I like the voice, then singing.
I found it somewhat difficult to understand what was being said due to the delay, but I like the effect of that on the song.
Too bad about the IP limit. I'd of liked to hear the rest of it.
Good work, keep on recording. :)

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Love the vocal panning. Yeah I would lower the bass a bit and pan the electric guitar more to the center. I like the vocal style a lot. Would like to hear the rest of the song for certain:)

Keep rockin!

Vocal

Thx for the compliments and comments.

To get that vocal delay, I just recorded my vocals twice, and I tried to make sure to sing them in a bit of a different rhythm on the second track. Kind of creates a randomish delay effect.

Thx,

Stefan

The only thing that really bugged me was the delay on the spoken parts. It needs to be a little faster or pulled back. It just sounds too jumbled.

I was listening on my Klipsch system with a sub and the bass was a little heavy on my system.

Except for the stuff mentioned above the "sound" seems to be working. A bit of polishing will really help.

The instruments need to be more defined, but I think that may be because they are (or seemed) to be panned about 80% right. Try to smooth them back over towards center a bit. Your vocals (the singing) sound promising.
