Any suggestions where 2 get one?

I am now going to buy an ADAT. I'm not sure which one yet, it will probably depend on what I can get a deal on. I am just looking for something easy to use. I am currently using a PC DAW to record on and I have decided that I don't like some of the limitations it has. Also, I've found that I never use a lot of my rackmount gear because it is easier to use plugins. Any I hate that I paid for all this stuff that is now gathering dust.
ANYWAYS...will anyone suggest a place to look for ADAT units. I have no problem buying used.

You can get the LX20 from http://www.samash.com and http://www.musiciansfriend.com at under a grand. The XT20 goes street for around 16-1700 at both places. Or you can check http://www.ebay.com for good deals on used adats. But be sure any used adat has low hours on it's heads.

With the used ADAT's also check if it has the latest version chip, and if any upgrade mods recommended by Alesis have been made to the unit. Even if the headstack has lo hours, it could be an older version that had just not been used. Some of the latest mods COULD make a difference in it performance. Just some food 4 thought. Good luck.
