Hey guys,
I just got a Stanton ST-100 digital turntable and have a problem with the digital outs.

I have a M-Audio AudioPhile 24/96 that I am trying to send the digital out of the ST-100 into the 24/96's digital in........

That said I am lost as it does nothing. The analog outs are fine.

ANy thoughts?

Is it the 24/96 or the STanton?........

Thanks for any help.

Do you have the 2496 set to sync to the incoming digital signal? The setting is on the S/PDIF page of the Delta control panel.

I thought the incoming sync was if you were syncing to another pc or clock source?

I shall give it a try though!

thanks for your help!

DonF you were correct sir!
But one question will have the audiophile set that way effect the way my system syncs?

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean. It will make your system work correctly when the Audiophile is getting its input from the turntable via S/PDIF. Anytime the turntable isn't sending digital data to the Audiophile, you'll have to set the Audiophile to sync to its internal clock.

It would be nice if you could make the A/D converter in the turntable sync to the Audiophile's clock, but that does not appear to be possible as far as I can tell.

Does that answer your question?

Don

Yep! Thanks for your help Don!
