Anyone :D

I'm new with my soundcard, and want to take advatange of all the great features, but i'm founding it a little bit complicated.

I've done some tests with adobe audition, but still don't understand to much about it, cause the windows volume control don't let tweak any settings.

Anyway.... i just want to make my first recording at 24-bit :D, with anything but n-track, cause it's driving me nuts.

The Windows mixer has no effect on the Delta1010LT, it's got it's own control software, in the Control Panel.

Don't know what? The only way you're going to have that question answered is by determining it for yourself. What is easy and simple for me may not be for you.

Kristal ... simple and free.
However, I have great success with n-Track version 3.3

Once version 4 matures a bit more, I'll likely start using it.

Good point. However, i'm not actually worried to much about the interface, is just that i don't know if my soundcard is recording true 24-bit yet.

With so many tweaks, is easy to missed important stuff. I don't even know how to make a comparison or resolutions tests between a 24-bit/16-bit wav files, to check if i really have more resolution.

I'm still blind in all that kind of stuff, so i feel secure when i have just 3 buttons, (Depth, Bits, REC). :D

LOl, your post asked for a recommendation for an "easy interface for 24-bit recording". Ok, so you're not that interested in the easy interface part. Well, almost all packages (and certainly all those I am aware of) do 24-bit, so take yer pick :)

underrp. if you get stuck setting up your delta 1010, as it CAN be a tad complex the first time. there are many users with just this sound card who can give you a lot of help on the powertracks forums at pgmusic.com who also use lots of other software as well who will get you up and running if you ask. particularly a very experienced person/audio engineer called rharv.peace.

Manning, stop hijacking everyone's threads to peddle your pathetic POS application.

fraser. give it a rest with the insults please.
i have every right to be here as you. i'm beginning to wonder if there are a group of programmers here insulting me that work for some other competitor to powertracks who want to silence my recommendations.
anyone can read the product reviews of powertracks - including leading mags here >>>> http://pgmusic.com/reviews_bb.htm as well as the user forums to see that your POS comment is completely WRONG !
and heres a link fraser showing what someone i originally recommended
powertracks to on this bbs thinks of it >>> http://www.pgmusic.com/cgi-bin/Ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=3&t=002533
notice his postive comments on the program to prove you wrong once again.
the thread starter asked for an alternative to ntracks.
i posted in reply.

I just love my Adobe Audition Interface :D

Unfortunely, i can't do real 24-bit recording with it.

I've been working and doing tests with ntrack so far, but so much tweaks drive me nuts.

And i can't even monitor the sound in the timeline to see if it's clipping or not. While in adobe audition i can see in realtime if the sound reach 0db.

If i can't see what i'm recording, i feel blind.

The realtime GRAPHIC while recording in Audition, is what i missed when i try other recording programs.

Yes,,you have a right to be here, but not to continally spam this board. You do on occasion give out some useful advice. However, your little mind seems unable to grasp the simple fact that people are sick and tired of your pimping your crap application. If it were one or two people complaining to you, then it would be us, but it's MANY.

It's way beyond spam at this point. But your little pea just doesn't get it.

And trust me - the competition isn't worried in the least about your POS application.

Try audacity :http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

You'll be able to easily record at 24 bit, and it's painless to try out just to get a taste for the difference.
