Well this is what I got, I have a MAC G4, DIGI 001, AMP AND MONITORS. This is the thing when I play a cd on my G4(itunes) it only comes out of the little speaker on my G4. What I want to do is any time a play a song out of my Itunes I want it to come out of my monitors...

I been told there is some way I could route my Pro-tools to come out my monitors or from the ear phone plug on the back of my G4 into my Digi 001. Can some assist me with this? HOlla at yo boy!!!!

Go into "control panels" from the apple menu. Click "sound" and then select the "output" tab. My guess is you have "built in" selected. You should switch that to "Digidesign". Should do it.

i had this problem also.i had to go to the digi website and download the free wave driver and it works.

So after downloading the free wave driver what do you do from that point?

you shouldnt need a wave driver. do exactly what fprod south stated and it should work. All your doing is routing the sound from your other apps to play through digi instead of the internal sound.

But digi doesn't even show up as a selection, so what from that point? HOw do I actually get digi to show up?

well, it depends on what OS your running. I have yet to switch to OS X, dont feel like leaving my plug in collection for PT 6.

But if your using OS 9, its real easy.
1. under the apple menu go to control panels
2. on the control panel list go to sound
3. on the sound window click the output tab
4. there should be a device list there with Built-In followed by one or two digidesign. Click the latter of the digi and it should work.
