I just yesterday picked up a 16 channel Allen & Heath GS3 for under $400. It was a bit dirty, missing one knob, and one of the channel pan pots isn't working, but all else is functional. I've spent a little time taking the knobs off and cleaning it up but realize there are also some functional things I'd like to do.
Since I'm using 16 channels of MOTU A/D/A which run at +4db, I need to convert the line-outs to +4db. I'm also not a fan of post-fader line-outs so I want to convert the line-outs to pre-fader.
I've contacted the local US distributor for A&H and asked them for the schematics for both mods.
I'm currious if anybody else here uses one of these and perhaps has thoughts or suggestions on other mods to consider, etc?
