Any online source for Hip Hop drums in AKAI format ?

take the drums you have now...and start multing them(copying the same kick/snare to different tracks) then to the copied tracks add certain efx for ex. on one copied track you make it the low omph emphasis that you hear in hip hop kicks...usually achieved by rolling off the highs and boosting in the lows(60-120 hz) add some compression slow attack...relatively quick release ratio around 6:1 to 10:1 should get you close but you still have use your ears...then play it together with the original and try to make them play nice most of the time its easy sometimes its not..then on another mult you gonna wanna make it the high emphasis so you can hear it on clock radio speakers....this is acheived by heavy compression...move the threshold until all you hear from the kick is like a click sound...fast attack about 2 ms fast relase .5 and below... ratio about the same as the others then mix all three of them and voila you have a different and phatter kick...then you can sample that and add it to your collection...do different variations and get different sounds
