They have the pc150 out, for a LONG time, but there seems to be no motherboards that are designed to operate at this speed. Anyone know anything that I don't know?

Not sure about the ram issue (using pc2100 DDR ram myself), but I wanted to say that I really liked that song you did " I dunno", It rocked, you guys have alot of natural talent.

ok i haven't reseached ram much lately...

but you see, people who have a mobo that runs at 100mHz FSB buy pc133 ram so they can overclock their 100mHz FSB to 133mHz FSB and the ram can run at that speed. So I'm to believe that if you have a 133mHz FSB and you buy pc150 you can overclock the mobo to 150mHz FSB more reliably. But then you always have to keep check of the PCI bus speed etc etc etc.

Kristian- thats what I am thinking. I've been studying the overclocking methods for the Iwill KK266, and i'm trying to figure out the clock multiplier versus pci bus speed settings math. That board sounds like an excellent excellent deal, and can be overclocked pretty stable when you unlock the Athlon, as fas as I can tell.

Ham Slam- thanks! I need some encouragement about now, things aren't going too well musically. Not only is my band not practiced in months, but I have next to no tracking equipment left. Killing me. Know any bass players and singers that wanna relocate? ;)
Peace,
Paul

dude, the encouragement you need is from yourself, I have seen that story a million times. I remember when I was about sixteen and playing in a band doing a concert here and there, now Im 29!!!! (yikes) with no band. The biggest thing I learned is do it yourself. Take that talent of yours and get everything down on tape (I mean everything)... You do have the talent (actually IM very inpressed with that song) and I do consider myself a pretty good producer.

Lifes a bitch... everytime music is going well, something happens. Thanks for the kind words, glad you like it. Can't wait to get more tracked, I have some stuff I'm very happy with that IMHO is better than that song.
Peace.
