This is the room's current layout.

The stereo imaging has improved a ton. I know many of you would rather see more rigid fiberglass than foam, but I couldn't stand the look of a million frames in such a small space. My big question is do you think I should add a 4'' thick bass trapon the green wall behind the monitors??

Edit: room is 33' long not 33''!!

Judging by where the steps appear to be in your diagram, I'm guessing that the answer to this is "no," but I'll ask anyway. Do you have enough space in there to be able to pull the mixing desk back toward the center of the room? If so, that would improve the the acoustics at your mixing position (I think), and it would allow you to pull your monitors away from the wall.

If you can do that, then I'd agree with your inclination to put a 703 panel behind each monitor. But if you can't get much good air space between the monitors and the wall, then I'm not sure you'll get much benefit from wedging 703 back there.
